MindSprout Studios ("we", "our", "us") operates the HourBank mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. You may also add a business name, address, phone number, and logo.
Client & Billing Data: Time entries, projects, tasks, invoices, and records you create within the App.
Device Information: Basic device info (OS, app version) for compatibility purposes.
Local Storage: All data is stored locally on your device. The App works fully offline.
Cloud Sync: If you create an account, data is synced to our cloud database (Supabase), encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS.
Local-Only Mode: Use the App without an account — all data stays on your device.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Your data is shared only with cloud infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes all data from our servers within 30 days.
HourBank is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
EU users have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email.
